Dr. John Schormans success with Vodafone testbed!

Dr. John Schormans has worked with a London-based mobile networks analysis company, Teragence, to assist Vodafone network engineers in building a business case for Mobile Edge Computing (MEC). The Teragence team, with John Schormans, ran a number of validation sessions over the Vodafone lab environment, which proved the Teragence measurement platform to be extremely accurate in capturing the underlying network conditions. These tests formed a key part of Vodafone’s real-world business case, which was presented at the MEC Congress in Berlin, where it won the award for best MEC R&D project.
