Title: Secrecy Broadcast Transmission Capacity for Heterogeneous Correlated Wireless Ad Hoc Networks
Abstract:
In this talk, the secrecy broadcast transmission capacity of a legitimate wireless ad hoc network coexisted with correlated eavesdroppers is presented. The secrecy broadcast transmission capacity is defined as the product among the spatial density of broadcast transmissions without secrecy outage, the average number of neighbors of a broadcasting node, and the secrecy rate. By modeling the correlation between the legitimate node and the eavesdroppers as a spatial bi-variate Poisson process, the average number of eavesdropping neighbors that can cause secrecy outage is derived. Considering general fading and Rayleigh fading cases, the secrecy broadcast transmission capacity is characterized. Numerical results show that in comparison to the case that without correlation, the correlation between the legitimate nodes and the eavesdroppers degrades the secrecy broadcast transmission capacity.

Title: Future Green Wireless Networks: Trends and Challenges
Abstract:
Energy-efficiency, one of the major design goals in wireless cellular networks, has received much attention lately, due to increased awareness of environmental and economic issues for network operators. This talk will highlight the trends and challenges of the green networks and green radio, including the background of the green radio/networks and the key ideas on the power saving for wireless networks. Then some works on the wireless networks structure optimization are given in detail.
