Title: An introduction to network monitoring and SDN

Abstract:

This talk aims to present various methods of networking monitoring data capture and analysis techniques. Particularly we focus on looking at why we should have near real-time data analysis rather than the more popular offline method. Finally, we introduce what is Software defined networking (SDN) and how it can used to improve network monitoring intelligence.
