The agenda for the seminar this week is listed below.

Speaker: Michael Meisel

Title: Internet Monitoring at Scale from ThousandEyes

Abstract: The Internet has never been a more critical piece of infrastructure. It has also never been more complicated. Keeping this infrastructure up and running requires tracking the state of an inherently dynamic network over time. At ThousandEyes, we continuously sample the Internet from servers across the globe. This talk explores our data on some recent major Internet outages, how we detected them, and what technologies and infrastructure we use to process and present this data in near real time.

Bio: Michael Meisel, VP Engineering, ThousandEyes
